Services are Sundays at 10 a.m.
Welcome to Church of the Holy Trinity, Manistee! We are the only year-round Episcopal congregation in Manistee County that has been present since 1888! That’s over 130 years of mission and ministry in a community that has seen tremendous diversity of priests, deacons, parishioners, joys, adversities, and new hopes.
Church of the Holy Trinity is a community of devout Episcopalians, new converts to the faith, periphery spiritual-but-not-religious, and affectionate Christmas and Easter faithful of all ages, sizes, sexual orientations, political affiliations, and socio-economic statuses.
We are deeply rooted in the Anglican Tradition, which means we are uniquely and simultaneously both catholic and protestant and yet neither. We believe in the beauty of apostolic liturgical theology, the ministry of all the baptized, and in the mutual ministry and accountability of both having a bishop and a local governing body. We have the benefits and drawbacks of being interconnected with our siblings in other towns and cities, states, countries, and continents. Church of the Holy Trinity is a centennial parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Western Michigan, established in 1888 and has been blessed by the services of many clergy-persons over the years. We are blessed to have a rich archive of history in this community. To read more about our deep roots here, please read our history page, HERE.
We welcome guests and visitors of all ages and persuasion, any time of the year, and hope that you experience the divine among us in a unique and life-giving way when you join us.
