The Vestry is the board of lay leaders elected at the congregation’s annual meeting to serve, usually, a three-year term. Each Vestry elects from among its members a Sr. Warden and Jr. Warden. A Clerk and Treasurer are also elected by the Vestry but are not necessarily members of the Vestry. The Vestry serves as the Spiritual Leadership Team committing themselves to the growth and vitality of the congregation. They oversee the areas of ministry to ensure communication and cohesiveness with the mission of the church is maintained, as well as assets of the church are properly managed. They also serve as the legal (fiduciary) representatives of the congregation for all matters relating to property, finance, and structure.
